Our Philip Harris Photosynthesis Apparatus is for measuring and analysing gas given off by plants such as Elodea. The apparatus comprises of two syringes connected to a collecting tube via a 3-way tap.
This arrangement enables the gas to be drawn along the capillary tube by one syringe and collected into the second syringe for analysis.
