The Magnaprobe™ magnetic field indicator is a small bar magnet fully suspended in a gimbal mounting and is designed to show the three dimensional nature of a magnetic field.
The MkII version is designed for work with magnetic fields in a laboratory. A preferable alternative to iron filings or plotting compasses when investigating the fields around magnets or coils etc.
