Multiplication Monsters from Hope Education helps to make learning multiplications and multiplication related facts fun and engaging. This KS1/LKS2 times table resource teaches children their 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 times tables. It can be used as a single or multiplayer game, helping to reinforce knowledge in a creative, engaging and multi-sensory way.
Children select one of the times table boards; lay the coloured squares in front of them; and match the sums on the board with the correct answer. Once the board is filled, the coloured squares can be flipped over to reveal a multiplication monster - and fact check any answers!
- A fun and easy way to teach times tables that provides an opportunity to independently learn and assess.
- Can be sent home as part of a blended learning activity, or be incorporated into intervention and catch up sessions for a fun and exciting experience.
- Children can race each other with two different boards or compete against the clock, adding the element of competition.
