Sound produced by vibrations of objects, in loudspeakers, detected by their effects on microphone diaphragm and the ear drum; sound waves are longitudinal
  • Key Stage 4 Physics - Forces and Motion: Speed of sound, estimating speeds and accelerations in everyday contexts.
  • Key Stage 4 Physics - Waves: Amplitude, wavelength, frequency, relating velocity to frequency and wavelength.
  • A Power Amplifier is required in order to produce a trace on an oscilloscope with this microphone.
  • An Amplified Microphone is also available.
